Counselors

Turn good student threat assessments into great ones

1-Day Coaching & Consulting

Counselors are 95%...

of the way to doing great threat assessments.
This 1-day in-district training gives them the missing piece.

In just one day, your counselors and key leaders will learn to recognize and apply the path to violence, the critical framework that turns good assessments into great ones.

They’ll gain the skills, materials, and confidence to accurately assess risk, intervene early, and manage dangerous students while guiding your entire school community to respond quickly, safely, and effectively to shut down the threat.

It’s ideal for counselors, social workers, and members of your threat assessment or behavioral team who need to train a new member, take an experienced team to the next level, or respond to a current difficult student or troubling concern with expert guidance.

The coaching experience combines focused instruction with hands-on application, so your counselors and team walks away ready to act.

Because it's delivered on-site and completed in a single day, more of your counselors and key leaders can attend together.

Each participant also receives personal one-on-one support from Don Shomette should they need assistance with a threat.

Everyone has to do school safety.
Why not do the kind that actually makes your school safer and your people feel more loved?
